Hey guys! This last month has been so busy! This time of year is probably busy for most of us. The balance between work, family, friends, and fund raising has been challenging. My days are almost always filled, which I’m so thankful for. One of my close friend asked me, “How do you do it?”. The only way to be truly balanced is to keep the Sabbath and pray a whole lot! There must be one day dedicated to the Lord and rest. Sometimes balance looks like missing out on a social event or not taking that extra shift. I’m still learning the balance every day. Thanksgiving is in a few days and I could write a long list of all the things I’m thankful for. Just thinking about all the love and support I’ve received makes me full of emotion. Thank you guys so much! I’m very excited about this next season.
I’ve had multiple opportunities to share what God is doing in Honduras. I had the honor of being a part of “Taste of Missions”. There were about 17 counties represented! We made Baleadas, which is a typical Honduran food. My sweet father helped me make and serve them. It was a fun event spreading awareness to global missions!
Meanwhile, In Honduras, HolaHope partnered with Compassionlink to provide first aid training to local churches. Here’s a word from HolaHope
“This weekend we had ten remote churches travel as far as five hours to receive first aid training. They learned several different ways to help provide immediate care, possibly saving lives, to get people next to a clinic or hospital. All of these villages were chosen because they have no access to a clinic or village doctor. Our prayer is that there churches will become a lighthouse of hope not just physically but spiritually. None of this could be possible without the incredible team at @compassionlink Thank you to everyone who supports the many ways we work to empower overlooked areas.”
Here is an update on my support! I can’t believe how much God has blessed my budget through y’all since last month! Last month I had a goal of reaching 65%. Through your faithful giving, I ended with 73%! And now I’m 77%! THANK YOU!
