Hey there! I hope each of you had an amazing Christmas and a happy New Year! This holiday season went by so fast. The last two months have definitely been busy—I wrapped up my final kids’ programs, had the opportunity to attend the Honduran General Council, and spent meaningful time with friends, sharing many goodbyes. I can’t believe my time in Honduras has come to an end. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support; I truly wouldn’t be on this journey without them. Saying goodbye was definitely hard, but I’m excited for what God has for me next.

After Thanksgiving, I began having my final programs with these communities. This particular community surprised me with a party—complete with homemade pizza and a cake—and they prayed over me. It was such a sweet and meaningful time together. Each leader and every child here holds a special place in my heart.

This community was one I had the privilege of being a part of from the very beginning. It was one of the programs we started last May, and it has been amazing to see the growth in each child. To close out my time there, we hosted a Christmas party where every child received a gift. It was such a special time, and I loved seeing the joy on their faces. Saying goodbye was very hard, but I’m excited to see this community continue to grow in Jesus.

The last couple of weeks were incredibly busy with selling things and saying goodbyes. It was amazing to spend time with each person, but also very hard. The relationships I’ve gained will remain with me forever. I feel so blessed to have family in Honduras.

My first missionary term was truly amazing. Working and serving with Hola Hope was an absolute blessing. Jenni and Kelly welcomed me onto their team, and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to serve alongside them during my first term. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to serve the most vulnerable communities in Honduras.

If you received my last newsletter, you saw that God is leading me into a new ministry in Costa Rica. I went on a vision trip this past August, where I prayed and felt God’s peace and confirmation about this new direction. The photo above is of me with the team and students of Alcance. I’m excited for this next season.
Let’s Connect!
I’ll be in the U.S. this year raising support and sharing about the amazing ministry happening in Costa Rica. I would love the opportunity to connect, share more details, and just fellowship with you! Feel free to reply to this newsletter, and we can set something up.
Prayer Requests:
Please continue to pray for Hola Hope and everyone in Honduras. Specifically, pray for one of the pastors who is awaiting surgery for a stent—pray for his healing and for the necessary funding.
Pray for this year as I share and promote my new ministry in Costa Rica, and as I spend time with friends and family.
Pray that in the midst of the busy season of itineration, I would find true rest and refreshment.
