Hey y’all! First off I want to thank each of you for partnering with me through pray and/or financially! It’s truly a blessing to have many family and friends supporting my dream and Gods call on my life.
I’ll be sending out monthly updates on my progress pre field and while on the field! Thank you for being a apart of this journey with me! God will do amazing things!
Here’s a description more in depth of what I’ll be doing for the next few years! Once I’m fully funded I’ll be heading to Costa Rica for 8 months for language school! I’ll be fully immersed in language! Then after school I’ll head over to La Ceiba Honduras for the remainder of 16 months to help Jenni and Kelly Conrady in their holahope ministries. While In Honduras my role is Impact Coordinator! I’ll help coordinate food and material distribution, lessons, and so much more.
Project Impact is an outreach program that partners with local churches to impact their community through evangelism/outreach events over a period of 4 years. Also, within this program Hola Hope partners with Convoy of Hope to provide weekly meals to the children in these vulnerable areas, as well as offer a weekly bible club. Churches receive Impact Boxes that contain a themed lesson book with all the materials and resources they need to run the bible club. I’ll be helping them to partner with the church to bring community outreach/ evangelism throughout each year. The goal of the program is to come alongside churches in marginalized/overlooked areas and help them in "impacting their community" to help reach those that may be unchurched- through community development and discipleship programs.
My calling in life is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and spread his love and light! And to create disciplines of Christ. God has burdened my heart for the lost and unreached. I’m currently 18 % funded. With your financial partnership you’ll be coming along with me and seeing Jesus be spread throughout Honduras. Will you join me?
Things to pray for this month:
- Pray for the holahope ministry as they are already going full swing into the impact project, that the kids and communities are open to Jesus and see their need of his Grace.
- Pray that I’ll get to 100% funded to start my journey In the field.
- Pray that God will be working on me spiritually and mentally to prepare for the field.
- Pray for my family! While they support the call of Jesus on my life, they aren’t having the best time coping with me leaving.
