Hi friends,
I can’t believe June is right around the corner—this year is flying by! I’m so grateful for your continued prayers and support. It truly means the world to me. Serving in this beautiful country has been such a blessing, and the past couple of months have been full and fruitful.
In March, we held a special training for our feeding centers. We split the group into cooks and teachers, and each team had a great time sharing ideas and learning new ways to teach and cook within their areas. Some participants arrived the night before, and we shared a beautiful time of worship and a message. I had the privilege of leading worship, and it was such a precious moment surrounded by amazing people.
Club de Chicas is going great!
We recently launched a program for the tween girls in one of the communities we serve. It’s designed to give them a space that feels just for them—especially as many have started to age out of the kids' programs. We’ve painted, made bracelets, and decorated cookies together! They absolutely love these gatherings, and it’s such a joy and blessing to be part of their lives in this way.
At the end of April, we drove up into the mountains to offer optical exams. These moments are so much more than just vision checks—they give us the opportunity to pray with people and share the love of Jesus. It’s an incredible tool for both meeting practical needs and opening doors for evangelism.
Our Wednesday program continues to run every week, and the kids are always so excited to be there. I absolutely love spending time with them! Many of these children have been coming for years, and it’s such a joy to watch them grow and build lasting relationships with them.
Praise God—we’ve officially launched two new feeding centers!
This is such an answered prayer and a huge praise report. We had been praying and preparing for this for several months, and we’re so excited to see it finally happen. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. With these two new additions, we now have a total of five feeding centers running each week. God is so good!
One of my favorite things to do is hiking. It’s been a bit of a challenge to find the time, but I finally got to go with one of my friends—and it was absolutely beautiful. Getting out in nature like that always is refreshing.
