Hey y’all! I can’t believe I’ve been in Honduras for over two months now—time has flown by! Thank you so much for all the prayers and support. It has been a busy couple of months. I graduated from Language School back in August and flew directly to Honduras. When I arrived, I had already found a vehicle, and it was ready to go. Thank you so much for your prayers in finding a car! Then I started looking for a place to stay and bought household items. Praise God that I found everything I needed in great timing.

Navigating shopping and buying furniture all in Spanish was tough, but I’m so thankful for my team at Hola Hope, who helped me along the way. My Spanish has improved so much since arriving here in Honduras! Praise God!

Our team had the opportunity to partner with our local church on a missions trip. We traveled about 10 hours to a remote area and participated in a women’s event, where I had the chance to give a devotion in Spanish! The team also provided eye exams, donated clothes, and organized a kids' program. It was an amazing opportunity to share the love of Jesus.

My role here in Honduras is mainly the Project Impact. Project Impact is an outreach program that partners with local churches to impact their community through evangelism/outreach events over a period of 4 years. Also, within this program Hola Hope partners with Convoy of Hope to provide weekly meals to the children in these vulnerable areas, as well as offer a weekly bible club. Churches receive Impact Boxes that contain a themed lesson book with all the materials and resources they need to run the bible club. I help partner with the church to bring community outreach/ evangelism throughout each year. The goal of the program is to come alongside churches in marginalized/overlooked areas and help them in "impacting their community" to help reach those that may be unchurched- through community development and discipleship programs. The kids get fed physically and spiritually. It is an honor to be a part of this wonderful program. The kids are amazing and local leaders are amazing. We currently have three impact sites running and prayerfully trying to partner with two more communities. Please keep us in your prayers.

I’ve had several opportunities to teach at my local church. It has been such a blessing to be here and serve Jesus in Honduras. I’ve met some amazing people and started to grow relationships.

Thank you for all your prayers and support! God is good!
