"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7

Costa Rica P2

Hey guys!

I can’t believe it’s July! Time has flown by. I’m so blessed to be here in Costa Rica learning Spanish. I couldn’t do this without your prayers and support. Life these past few months has been so crazy busy. At the end of April, we had a graduation for missionaries who had been in language school. Then, we had a two-week break between the two semesters. I went back home and spent time with my family. It was a great time. I got to surprise my grandmother for her birthday (see picture below). Then, I returned to Costa Rica and began our second semester.

I got the opportunity to help out at a kids' club one weekend. I led one of the games in Spanish! That was very nerve-wracking, and I read most of my instructions, but poco a poco. I learn something new every day, and concepts suddenly click. God is so good. I’m excited to continue learning this next month.

My time here in language school is dwindling down. I leave for Honduras on August 15th! I have mixed emotions. I love it here in Costa Rica and all the relationships I’ve gained, but I’m so excited to get to Honduras.

See the video below for what the next month and half will look like!

Prayer requests:

  • That my transition to Honduras is smooth
  • That I find a reliable, affordable car
  • Safe travel and that all my luggage gets to Honduras
  • That all the small details fall into place
  • Peace for my parents

Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
