Meeting people 🤝
Have you ever wondered how you met someone? Was it just by chance? A big part of raising support and building connections is reaching out to people and meeting with them to share what God has put on my heart.
You might be wondering—what are “divine appointments”? It’s when I make plans, but God has even better ones. He orchestrates an encounter with someone, and it’s completely by His design.
Chance Encounter?
A couple of months ago, I was having a rough day—feeling discouraged and worn down. I sat down at my computer to get a lot of work done, but right as I got everything set up, the power went out. Can you believe that? It reminded me of my time in Honduras, when the power would go out all the time.
Since I needed to finish my schoolwork, I packed up my bag and headed to a coffee shop.
I was completely focused on my computer when a lovely woman walked in. She noticed me, came over, and gave me a hug.
Backstory: I used to work at this coffee shop, so I still knew many of the regulars.

Little did I know, she would end up being such a blessing to me that day. She shared that God had used me while I was working there to encourage her—and that she had since started following Jesus. She also told me that she and her husband were retiring and stepping into ministry.
God uses people for His purpose. We don’t always see the impact we’re making for Christ in the moment, but sometimes He lets us see the fruit years later.
Years ago, God placed me in her path for His glory—and recently, He placed her in mine to encourage me.
It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind—the to-do lists and responsibilities. But our ultimate purpose is to proclaim the name of Jesus and be His witness, even in the middle of our everyday lives.
God is so good 😊
God is so good and so kind. My prayer is that each day I wake up, I would see Him in every moment around me. I pray for more divine appointments—that I can be His light in this very dark world.
