God is so good
Sometimes we meet people without realizing just how much they will impact our lives. During my first term, I met someone who would become a close friend on this missionary journey.
I first met Marci during missionary training in Springfield. Later, we became roommates in Costa Rica while attending language school. I would often spend weekends traveling a few hours away with Marci to the place where she would eventually serve during her first term.
Do you know where that was?
It was the Alcance Bible School!
Wow God!
I even had the opportunity to help paint the café at Alcance during one of those visits to Costa Rica. At the time, I had no idea that God would one day call me to serve there myself.
Looking back now, I can clearly see how He was already at work, preparing the way and beginning to open the door for what would become an important part of my missionary journey.

California
Last week, I had the opportunity to visit Marci in California. It was such a blessing to worship alongside her church family and share about what God is doing through the ministry at Alcance.
Being able to connect with the congregation, share the vision, and spend time with such an encouraging church was both a joy and an honor.

The trip also gave me the chance to see parts of the United States that I had never experienced before. One of the highlights was visiting Lake Tahoe for the very first time.
Standing there and taking in its beauty reminded me of the incredible God we serve. Everywhere we look, we can see evidence of His creativity, power, and goodness.
Moments like these fill me with gratitude and awe as I reflect on the beauty of God's creation and the privilege I have of sharing His love with others.
